No, and we can't. Retailers don't permit third parties to act on your account, and we won't ask for your login to get around that. We hand you the price, the link, the item number, the stock confirmation and a script. The call takes about ninety seconds and it has to be you.
In our own testing on 29 July 2026, 2 of 7 items had a claimable price match — about 29%. That's a small sample and we're not going to dress it up as a success rate. Most scans find nothing. We'd rather you know that before you pay than after.
If we tell you there's money and the retailer's page turns out to have been stale, wrong, or a different model, we refund the unlock fee with no questions inside 30 days. We don't refund the $2.50 scan fee, because the looking genuinely happened.
Your store's own current price, plus the competitors its price-match policy actually names. For Best Buy that includes Walmart, Target, Costco, Home Depot, Lowe's, B&H, Newegg, Sam's Club and others. Matching against a retailer that isn't on your store's list is a wasted phone call, so we don't bother.
Because the search is the work. Checking eight retailers, confirming the model, ruling out marketplace sellers and open-box listings, and verifying stock costs us real money whether the answer is $46 or zero. Charging only on success would mean pricing the winners high enough to cover the losers, which is just a worse version of the same thing.
No. Unlock fees are flat and shown to you before you pay. A percentage of a refund is a percentage of money you don't have yet — you might not file, they might say no. We don't want to be paid on a maybe.
No. We never ask for a retailer login, and we don't read your inbox. You send a receipt — photo, PDF, or a forwarded order email — and that's all we need.
It depends on the retailer and sometimes on your membership. Best Buy is 15 days as standard and 60 days for My Best Buy Plus and Total members. Costco is 30 days on its own price drops. Target is 14 days and, since July 2025, only against its own price. We tell you your deadline with every result.
Marketplace sellers, clearance, open-box, refurbished, bundles, out-of-stock listings, the wrong model number, and blackout periods — Best Buy suspends matching from the Thursday before Thanksgiving through Cyber Monday. We check all of these before telling you there's a claim, because a lead that fails one of them just wastes your phone call.
Yes. Price matching is a policy retailers publish and promote. We're reading publicly listed prices and telling you what we found — we identify ourselves honestly, respect sites that ask us not to check them, and never access anything behind a login. Our bot policy spells it out.
